I've been posting this 1 day at a time at my yg storybook monkees.
Here are the first 5 ficlets .. I was trying to do the 100 thing but really, this is not a drabble list, so I just wrote what came to me.
This list I'm using is from ficlet100. I'm using table 2 for the Monkees selections.

Good evening, Just wanted to see if you knew about fan history wiki. I was following a link from a lj entry and found this interesting and up and coming spot. From looking at some of fandoms I enjoy, it's several lacking. So I'm posting to some of my favorite groups to ask for your help. Follow the link and explore and if you can, add your two cents worth. I'm playing with the idea of going to Dragon Con. Marianne, one of my Jacksonville, ff
Most interesting guest I've found is that Micky Dolenz and his daughter will be there.
it's 75.00 for 3 days registration fee, in Atlanta.
Anyone on my friends list go?
This would be my first con to go to like this. The Ancient City Con is the first of August but it's more gaming then anything else. But I'm going to try to promote it to be more than that. this month.

I've created a new yahoo group and it involves two hobbies, fan fiction and pen palling. I want some mail coming other than bills. I've enjoyed my time over the last seven months of coupon trains. I've been wanting to get involved in pen palling. All walks of fandoms will be welcomed. I only belong to handful of yg. If you are a list mom to a group, please forward. The Monkees In need of work Mike, Micky, Peter and Davy PG 252 words Mike sat at the table, flipping through a notebook. The notebook was a book of gigs that they had played in the last year. He was looking through it to get ideas where to call to get more bookings. They were going on to their second week of not playing. Micky was making money working on cars down at the garage. Peter was taking up dog walking. So far it only cost them ten dollars to post a reward for a little dog that got loose from him the first day. Davy was laying low. Which concerned Mike, usually he was into something he knew that Mike wouldn't approve of. Picking up the phone he dialed the first number. The Go-go down the street. Usually they could get a booking there if he begged well enough. While talking to Darrel, the manager, Davy came into the pad through the back door. Seeing that Mike was on the table, he snuck past him and got into his room that he shared with Peter. Mike hung up the phone, didn't know if he should be glad. He got a booking but it was in two weeks. Looking some more he dialed another number. Davy stripped down to his underpants and crawled under the covers of his bed. He had been out all night but he had earned a hundred dollars. He couldn't tell Mike what he was doing but at least he was contributing. He would leave it for Mike after he slept awhile.

Give me your two cents .. it's in the early stages, basically getting the the main link pages. I have a two stories posted.
At current count I can find over 200 stories that I've posted over my time online. I've been online since 2001.
My first question is, should I add a pic or two of each of the fandoms on the page that says the fandom.
Do you like the colors I picked?

Reading through some of coupon groups emails .. something has been brought up. Food limits at some stores for large bags of rice, and some doing the same for oil and flour.
Have you seen this?
Seems to be hitting the west coast and the New England area the hardest.
with the import of rice in peril, the large stores likes Sam's warehouse and Costco are limiting the sale of rice to 1 bag.
In New England, Bakers went to the Costco type stores for their distributor's pricese sky rocketed.
A new sign of the times?

After settling Blair on the couch, Jim turned the lamp on to emit light into the loft. A soft groan came Blair. Shaking his head, Jim went to the kitchen to see what he could find to fix for dinner, finding only a can of soup laden with potatoes. Opening the drawer for the can opener, he wondered why there was a chisel in the drawer, he would ask later. Dumping the contents of the can into the pot, Jim wondered how the climax of the day had come to this, Blair on the couch, and him fixing some soup.

We needed the rain. SO I can't really complain. But Rain t night is better than during the day. My daughter is bored., the Dsh scrambled for the storm tracked south, and I can't seem to get my mind to do anything worth while.
And today is another day of the same. Though my Mom wants to go to AC Moore to get a Spring flag for her house and later wants to go out for dinner. So out, home for awhile then out again. Then it's a week of work. blah.
Interesting items this week. I accumlated like 400 pionts at switchplanet. Last year. for several months, cd's came through the recycling plant that had be opened to get the cardboard wrappers and we divied the cd's up. I took one to keep and a few to trade. I started at lala.com then went to switchplanet and swaptree, that expand that they have books, cd's, dvd's and computer games.
Last weekend I looked at computer games. My daughter was asking bout Nintendo DS, but I can't afford that 120.00 game at the moment. But looked at game boy advance. Someone had the game console for 91 points and going on, games usually cost from 15 to 40 points. I picked up the game console and several games and a few dvd's for myself, to be sent over this last week.
I figured if she can get the idea on how to use the game console and go from there I might be able to afford a better system knowning that she likes it.
I went today and get this .. someone has a super nintendo game system and a few games for under 100 points. I put in a request for them to see.
My ex had gotten a super nintendo .. well we got it twice actually. He bought one for me for his christmas gift to me when we were dating. at the ime they were 150.00 when they first came out. I let him keep it at his apartment. Somehow it disappeared in his move from Louisville to Cincinnati. So saving up money again, he bought it again. It was fun to play now and then. I'm a tetris girl and did some mario stuff but I wasn't into solving the levels. I ususally hated playing aginst Paul for he made it like I'm better than you type thing. I like playing it for the fun, not the competition. So When we broke up, I didn't pick it up as in needing it. Who knows what happened to it in all his moves since then. Might ask him when I see him this summer.
If you have books, cd's, dvd's and games, I highly recommend Switchplanet. I've been swapping there for the last year almost and have not had one negative trade.
ok, it's 1, time to go pick up mom and go to acmoore. and see what else my child can try to swindle out of me.
