Ugh - a weekend to go blah
We needed the rain.  SO I can't really complain.  But Rain t night is better than during the day.  My daughter is bored., the Dsh scrambled for the storm tracked south, and I can't seem to get my mind to do anything worth while.

And today is another day of the same.  Though my Mom wants to go to AC Moore to get a Spring flag for her house and later wants to go out for dinner.  So out, home for awhile then out again.  Then it's a week of work.  blah.

Interesting items this week.  I accumlated like 400 pionts at switchplanet.  Last year. for several months, cd's came through the recycling plant that had be opened to get the cardboard wrappers and we divied the cd's up.  I took one to keep and a few to trade.  I started at lala.com then went to switchplanet and swaptree, that expand that they have books, cd's, dvd's and computer games.

Last weekend I looked at computer games.  My daughter was asking bout Nintendo DS, but I can't afford that 120.00 game at the moment.  But looked at game boy advance.  Someone had the game console for 91 points and going on, games usually cost from 15 to 40 points.  I picked up the game console and several games and a few dvd's for myself, to be sent over this last week.  

I figured if she can get the idea on how to use the game console and go from there I might be able to afford a better system knowning that she likes it.

I went today and get this .. someone has a super nintendo game system and a few games for under 100 points.  I put in a request for them to see. 

My ex had gotten a super nintendo .. well we got it twice actually.  He bought one for me for his christmas gift to me when we were dating.  at the ime they were 150.00 when they first came out.  I let him keep it at his apartment.  Somehow it disappeared in his move from Louisville to Cincinnati.  So saving up money again, he bought it again.  It was fun to play now and then.  I'm a tetris girl and did some mario stuff but I wasn't into solving the levels.  I ususally hated playing aginst Paul for he made it like I'm better than you type thing.  I like playing it for the fun, not the competition.  So When we broke up, I didn't pick it up as in needing it.  Who knows what happened to it in all his moves since then.  Might ask him when I see him this summer.

If you have books, cd's, dvd's and games, I highly recommend Switchplanet.  I've been swapping there for the last year almost and have not had one negative trade.  

ok, it's 1, time to go pick up mom and go to acmoore.  and see what else my child can try to swindle out of me.
